EARS, CARTILIDGE, EYEBROW, NIPPLE, SEPTUM, & NOSTRIL PIERCING CARE

FOR THE FIRST MONTH:

  • Clean your piercing with care solution 4 times a day. (Apply with sterile Q-Tips)
  • Slight swelling, redness, or discharge from the pierced area is normal.
  • No swimming in fresh, salt or chlorinated water.
  • Never use alcohol or peroxide on your piercing.
  • Do not use make-up, moisturizers, or lotions on or near the newly pierced area.
  • Do not change out your jewelry for at least a month.
  • ALWAYS WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY WITH ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP PRIOR TO HANDLING PIERCING

FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS:

  • Limit your exposure to the sun.

FOR THE FIRST 10 DAYS:

  • Apply a small amount of Bacitracin ointment with a sterile Q-Tip onto your piercing after each cleaning with care solution.
