NAVEL PIERCING CARE

 FOR THE FIRST TWO MONTHS:

  • Clean your piercing with care solution 4 times a day. (Apply with sterile Q-Tips)
  • Slight swelling, redness, or discharge from the pierced area is normal.
  • No swimming in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water.
  • Never use alcohol or peroxide on your piercing.
  • Do not use make-up, moisturizers, or lotions on the newly pierced area.
  • Do not change out your jewelry for at least 2 months.
  • ALWAYS WASH HANDS THOROUGHLY WITH ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP PRIOR TO HANDLING PIERCING

FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS:

  • Limit your exposure to the sun.

FOR THE NEXT TWO MONTHS:

  • Clean your piercing with care solution 2 times a day.

FOR THE FIRST 10 DAYS:

  • Apply a small amount of Bacitracin ointment with a sterile Q-Tip onto your piercing after each cleaning with the care solution.
